Overview
About Me
27 years old woman who grew up in France and now living in Auckland, New Zealand. I left my country a few years ago to explore other cities. I lived in London for a couple months, then Sydney for a year. I landed in Auckland shortly after, didn't mean to stay for long, but things don't always go as planned. I met my future husband and ended up accepting a promotion and having a baby. I'm now learning to love my new home with my new family.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
"Participate in creating a better world".
This modo says it all. Couchsurfing is such a wonderful initiative, I had to be a part of it.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
First eSCpericence : june 19 2010. I hosted Jort Vanderdeen from Amsterdam for one night. He fought with my cat all night and I unsuccessfully tried to play guitar.
June 30 2010 : hosted Pedro Jorge Perez Villa, from Mexico, for two days. We talked a lot about Mexico, this country I love, and we hardly tried to find some contact lenses...
June 1st 2010 : hosted Karlis Liepa and a friend of his, from Latvia, for one night. We went to a party at a friend's house, and the next day, we walked under the burning sun for a site seen.
August 21st : hosted Agnes from Germany. She stayed at my place while I was working. My owner took her to an italian restaurant and to the light and sound show Place Stanislas. After work, we had some beers in my favourite bar.
November 2011 : I forgot to update a lot of experiences and I'm sorry, it's been a pleasure to host all of you and I hope I'll be able to host again very soon. So in november, I landed in Sydney and was hosted by Tamika and Jay in their awsome warehouse in Enmore. Besides from giving me a good time, it also gave me the opportunity to focus on job and flat seeking without having to worry about where I was going to sleep and I thank them for that.

Travels
That's just who I am. I've always been traveling. My parents took me to Germany, I went to USA when I was 12 and again at the age of 14. I spent 3 months in Austria one year later. I visited Italy, Polonia and Tschech Republic in Hight Scool. Then I lived a whole year in Mexico. I also visited England (London and Manchester), Spain (Madrid), Belgium (Bruxelles), Morocco (Marrakech and the Atlas mountains).
Since, I only have one dream : find a job in a foreign country and work in as many places as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music : I hate french "variété". I mostly listen to hard rock and metal (from System of a Down to Six Feet Under, bring it on, big boy, I'm not scared). I also enjoy some jazz (Allen Toussaint, Pink Martini), less brain smashing rock (Queen, the Doors...) and original soundtracks (The Gordfather...).
Movies : I hate french Nouvelle Vague. I'm more into american / british cinema, especially when it contains zombies and/or blood thirsty vampires. My very favorite director is Quentin Tarentino.
Books : I hate french literature. I read sci-fi and fantasy (Tolkien, Pratchett, Douglas, Mitchell...) and scientific stuff (Dawkins, Harris, Hawkin...).
