Hm, I am a recent college graduate who has found herself traveling around here and there. I enjoy working with video/media, art, and going to live shows. I am all about doing everything yourself and doing the things you want to do regardless of other people's expectations. Despite struggles, instability, existential crises, I'm very happy with where that mindset has taken me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has made past trips more memorable than if I'd decided to stay in hotels or hostels. Connecting with humans has helped me gain a better perspective of the place I'm visiting and often made for a more meaningful experience. Sleeping in kitchens, balconies and even a yurt for sure has far outweighed the cushy nature of a hotel room. sometimes i feel like we live in a selfish culture, but couchsurfing honestly has showed me otherwise.
