Overview
About Me
So, let me tell you a little bit about me... I was born at north Brazil, by the rain forest. I'm a biomedical scientist (http://www.nature.com/articles/cddiscovery201567), and have been an entrepreneur in North Africa. As hobbies I enjoy doing crafts, DIY and interior design projects, as well as watching movies, going for live music sessions, practicing sports and outdoors activities. I'm organized and systematic but very friendly. I love to share my life experiences and even more to listen other people's stories. For me, wisdom is something you get by interacting and mainly listening from life around you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because it's an awesome community for cultural interchange. For me, traveling is much more then just stepping somewhere and saying "I went there"... When I travel usually I keep it short but intense, I like real experiences thus I try to see the place from different perspectives and try to understand the local culture and lifestyle.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've climbed the Mount Sinai in Egypt, leaped from high places into the water by the Amazon River and the Mediterranean Sea, dived at the Red Sea, slept in a Bedouin camp and rescued animals and people from many dangerous situations. I've also been on television a couple of times but one of the most amazing memories I have was eating a bread cooked inside the sand at the Star Wars site in the middle of the Saara desert.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn some local cooking tips, trying new sports is always nice as well. Maybe I'd be able to share some knowledge I have in any topic... Especially about the places I’ve lived in.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've lived in countries that shaped, on me, an unique mindset. The knowledge of different cultures and the stories lived overseas, the dangers, fears and outcomes are all worth sharing. I have a very busy life but I try to be helpful at the same time.
