I was born in Los Angeles but I grew up in the country of eternal spring, my beautiful Guatemala. Being independent has always been a huge motivation for me so in 2016 I decided to move to the U.S.

I'm currently living in L.A working as a nanny, trying to create my own business and aiming to travel as much as my limited time off allows me to ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Last year I had the opportunity to have a 2 week trip with my best friend and got to know a few amazing, good-hearted people he met through Couchsurfing and I found it very interesting and a must have experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

Hard to tell since I spend a lot of my time doing these three things but I'll try.

Music:
Tom Misch (my current fav of favs). Old alternative rock... Staind, A perfect Circle, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Deftones... I don't want to bore you, let's just say I have plenty of playlists.

Movies:
I love movies! Either going to the movie theater or watching from home. My all time favorites are: Man on Fire, A lot like love, My best friend's wedding, The Proposal (I'm quite corny I guess) but I also love the ones based on true stories like Spotlight, The Imitation Game, Lion, Carol... and animated movies such as The Incredibles.

Books:
The Mastery of Love, The Richest Man in Babylon, The Art of War, Dali's Mustache, Twilight of the Idols or How to Philosophize with a Hammer... I don't know, I try to read a new book every month. I like the ones about money, marketing or the ones that teach you how to thrive and better understand others and yourself.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can of course teach you Spanish!! ;D But if you prefer, I can also teach you how to prepare some yummy salads, smoothie bowls and I can help you when it comes to artsy stuff too.
