Overview
About Me
You can call me 'G.' I love meeting new people, trying new foods, finding new wines, and exploring. If I can't find someone to go to a movie with me or on a trip with me, I don't mind going alone. I love exploring new cities and learning about new cultures-- even within one state you can see so many different things. I'm chatty and, according to most, outgoing, so I'm not averse to befriending strangers. I've traveled quite a bit, here and there. My family is Nicaraguan, but I grew up in Los Angeles and went to college in New York City. After college I lived in Yongin, South Korea, teaching English and learning about Korean culture and language. Other than that, I love music and used to play the saxophone, the bass clarinet and the violin. Unfortunately, I'm out of practice :).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had the most amazing time in Spain while couch surfing. My cousin Julio, our friend Stuart and I spent Christmas 2008 in Madrid with some wonderful hosts and their friends... ohh the stories!
