CURRENT MISSION

Hasta hace poco creí que mi misión era desarrollarme profesionalmente pero cuando me di cuenta de que me queda mucho tiempo para lograr esa meta, me decidí a conocer y descubrir cosas nuevas.

Until recently I used to think that my "mission" was to grow professionally but when I realized that i have a lot of time to do it, I decided to know and discover new things.

ABOUT ME

Pues... soy diseñadora gráfica de profesión y astrónoma frustrada (es más un hobby), siempre he querido salir a conocer el mundo y creo que ya es tiempo. Me encanta pasar el rato con mi perra... A veces quisiera que fuera "de bolsillo" para poder cargarla conmigo a todas partes.

Well... I'm a graphic designer and my hobby is astronomy, I've always wanted to go out and see the world and I think is time to do it. I love spending time with Laika, my dog... sometimes i wish she was "pocket-sized" and take her with me everywhere.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hasta ahora no he tenido tantas experiencias en CS; en 2014 hice un viaje por el sureste de México con unos amigos y durante ese tiempo conocimos a varias personas muy interesantes que nos inspiraron con sus ideas y costumbres. Esa es la única vez que he utilizado esta red para viajar pero espero que no sea la última.

I haven't had many experiences so far in CS; in 2014 I made a trip to the southeast of Mexico with some friends and during that time we met very interesting people that inspired us with their ideas and customs. That's the only time i've used this network for traveling but I hope this is not the last one.

Interests

No están en orden de preferencia pero... Diseño gráfico, ilustración, tipografía, pintura, música (escucharla y admirarla), adoro ir a conciertos aunque sean de bandas de las que nunca había oído hablar, astronomía, climas fríos, los perros, en especial la mía, cualquier otro animal, caminatas, literatura (los clásicos), las muñecas de porcelana (me encantan) y sobre todo: descubrir cosas y vivir nuevas experiencias.

There aren't in order but... Graphic design, illustration, tipography, painting, music (listen it and admire it), I love going to concerts even though I don't know the bands, astronomy, cold weather, dogs, specially mine, any other animal, walking, literature (the classics), porcelain dolls and of course: discovering and living new things and experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

Pues no veo muchas películas pero si he leído algo... me gusta la literatura inglesa de un par de siglos atrás, sobre todo las románticas (tengo mi corazoncito) pero mis favoritas son los clásicos de terror (?) más famosos como "Drácula", "El extraño caso del Dr. Jekyll y Mr. Hyde", me llegan a lo más profundo de mi corazón "de pollo", en serio "Frankenstein" me hizo llorar. Y en cuanto a música, me gusta el rock en cualquier modalidad.

Well, I don't watch many movies but I've reading some... I like english literature from a couple of centuries behind, mostly the romantic ones (I have my little heart) but my favorites are the most famous terror (?) classics like "Dracula", "The strange case of Dr Jekyll and mr Hyde", they touch me in special way, seriously, "Frankenstein" made me cry. And about music, I like rock.

Puedo ayudarle a las personas a mejorar su español o a que aprendan a manejar algún programa de diseño como Photoshop o Illustrator, incluso, si al conocerme creen que les puedo enseñar alguna otra cosa, con gusto les compartiré lo que sé.

I can help people to improve their spanish or to learn some design software like Photoshop or Illustrator, or if by the time they know me they think I can show them something else, I'll be glad to share with them everything I know.
