ABOUT ME

We are a couple, Michela and Gaetan, currently on a trip around the world. We left Belgium on January 2009 with a big smile and a backpack. Since then we have been seen a bit everywhere in Latin America. Our next objective are now Oceania, South East Asia and India. We like to meet new people from all the places of this planet...get to know them and learn about their tradition and way of living. We love to speak, share points of view around a beer, a glass of wine or simple a coffee...especially if it's only ten in the morning.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

we are new to the community of couch surfing and never have done yet...we are looking forward to experience it in California.

兴趣

Trekking, Travelling, Visiting lost places, Drawing, Going out the evening with old and/or new friends, Listening Music, Skydiving, movies. Recently we discovered a great fun doing artisanat: macrame, wood craft, etc.
Photography is one of our main interest and the only camera we have is sometimes almost splitted in two.

very open minded musically speaking...we love to discover new style, genre.
About movies, thare are simply too many to name them...but we have a preference for movies that don't leave you inteact inside, that make you think and ask yourself questions.
for books, we are recently very much into cultural and historic guides to learn more about those places we visit

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

well, it's hard to chose between amazing hings we've seen because here so many but maybe the one that moved me the most was in Salasaca in Ecuador. We spent some time volunteering in an indigenous community...and despite he fact that these people had almost nothing to live with, every single day, they had the biggest smile ever on heir face.
