Overview
About Me
I started studying History of Ideas three years ago, mainly because I couldn't choose between the subjects that History of Ideas happened to be a mixture of: Sociology, Aesthetics, Philosophy, Politics, Science etc.. Out of this my interest in museums grow.
Now I have ended my Bachelor's degree and I want to travel again; letting myself out of the bubble, that I have been in for to long. - So that's what I decided on doing the next half of a year.
In Denmark I am sharing a town house in the centre of Aarhus with five other people. Living in a house full of people fits me very well; knowing that somebody just left (the music is still playing in the kitchen, there is coffee in the coffee pot), or somebody just enter the door with something to tell.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing allows one to come behind the surface of a unknown city. It makes it possible to meet strangers, whom you would otherwise have past in the streets. People's roads cross in the generosity of sharing and letting somebody in to the house of yours. I think that is very beautiful!
Interests
My interests are mainly in cultural heritage: How we define ourselves as a nation or a country; how we make the past meaningful for the present and future.
ALSO: I play the saxophone (Not that well yet, but I trying at least), I love being out meeting and talking to people; exchanging histories.
I enjoy: reading, writing, and running for exercise, traveling.

What I Can Share with Hosts
It is difficult to say, because every meeting is a new situation, but hopefully we will both learn new stuff about ourselves and share a good experience in the company of each other. Maybe the stranger will become a friend when the roads cross over once again.
