ABOUT ME

I've traveled a lot, but I tend to go back continually to places I like a lot. I've been to Italy more than 35 times and I've lived and studied in Bologna for six months. Subsequently I've done language courses in Perugia, Brescia and Padova and voluntary work in Turin. While writing an article about my other passion -Carroll's book Alice in Wonderland- I've discovered Oxford and the UK. Since then I've been back several times and in 2008 I've done voluntary work in Yorkshire and Oxfordshire.
Although I still want to see the rest of the world, I can't stop loving Italy and the UK and go back whenever I can. But I like my own place too, and enjoy showing it to others v much.
In daily life I'm a web editor and on a freelance basis I write columns and reviews about art and food. Other things I like are cats, fantasy & children's literature, chocolate milk, British comedy and I've just start rowing, which I like A LOT :)
