Overview
About Me
I'm a 22 yo Italian girl who just graduated from university. I studied Intercultural Linguistic Mediation, so as you can guess I really love to get to know new people, especially from other countries! People tell me I'm friendly and really kind, and I always have a smile on my face :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I plan to go on an interrail trip this summer, and as during some time I'll be traveling alone I thought it would be great to find a cool place to stay while meeting new friends! In my hometown I live with my parents and we almost always have a free bedroom to offer, since my brother's not often around. Otherwise we have a good sofa or foldable single bed. My parents are really open-minded people therefore they're totally fine with couchsurfing. Actually they indeed love meeting foreign people and learn something new about their country (they both speak English).
Interests
I love foreign languages and cultures. I always wish I knew more of them!!
I really like martial arts (aikido) and Zen Buddhism philosophy, healthy but tasty food (I'm vegetarian but I respect all choices, people are always first), every kind of outdoor activity, longboarding, snowboarding, theatre (I love acting but this doesn't mean I'm good at it 😄), novels, movies and tv series.
Of course I love traveling and one of the goals of my life is to be able to see as many places as possible in the world!

Music, Movies, and Books
I mainly like Rock, Jazz, Indie and Reggae music. Some of my favorite movies are Across the Universe, Into the Wild, The Shining, Karate Kid, and Brokeback Mountain.
I'm in love with a lot of American TV series: Modern Family, How to get away with murder, Dexter, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Narcos, Homeland, Mr. Robot...
I also love the Kalhed Hosseini trilogy books, Millenium trilogy, Harry Potter saga, Orwell books and travel novels.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't know if it can be universally considered "amazing" but I think it was: I lived in Beijing for 5 months and loved that Chinese experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like teaching languages, I can help you learning some Italian or spanish or some basis of chinese. Just ask! Since I'm a language freak 🤓 I'd obviously appreciate to learn something about your language as well! I play guitar and if you also do you can totally borrow mine.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We have a comfortable sofa, often a private bedroom. I love to listen to travel and life stories and experiences and I have a few to tell, too! :)
