About Me

Hi there! I'm currently living in Montreal as an exchange student and I'm originally from Italy. I adore traveling and although I've already visited a few places I can't wait to travel more and more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and getting to know the culture of the place that I'm visiting... In short I like to live the cities that I visit like a local as much as possible.

Interests

I like creative writing. I'd like to learn to play the drums. I'm keen on learning foreign languages, as each language has its own particular way of interpreting the world and it is always interesting to learn to see things from a new perspective. I try to practice yoga and meditation regularly. I love literature and art in general, I enjoy studying philosophy and I'm really interested in psychology.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is quite varied and I love to discover new artists. I don't like to make a list of favorites, so I will just randomly write what comes to my mind: the dandy warhols, broken bells, la femme, poni hoax, ratatat, god is an astronaut, blonde redhead, warpaint, the xx, queens of the stone age, brmc, the music, hiatus kaiyote, nina simone, janis joplin, lenine, the chemical brothers, morcheeba, cat power, kate tempest,

for what regards movies: a clockwork orange, amelie, vertigo, some like it hot, breakfast at tiffany's, manhattan, hiroshima mon amour, the big lebowski, get out, sausage party, love,

books: the picture of dorian gray, les fleurs du mal, the doors of perception, siddharta, en attendant godot, la nausée, le mur, l'étranger, anna karenina, se una notte d'inverno un viaggiatore, le petit prince, il piacere, 1984, norwegian wood, do androids dream of electric sheep, rubyfruit jungle,
