Hello :)

I was born and raised in Rome, then moved to Oxford to study and currently spending one year working in Brussels. Next stop will likely be Spain, as I miss too much the sun...

I love living in different countries cause I feel is the only way to really get to know a culture, so yeah, definitely my aim is to travel a lot, meet people from all over the globe and learn as much as I can about different cultures!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Love travelling, meeting new people and cultures - as many as possible! I'm quite sociable and like trying new things :)

At the moment I'm into trying to shift to a healthier lifestyle, which I believe is easier when you find like-minded people that can sort of "mentor" you. Books can teach a lot, but personal experience is quite irreplaceable.

Trying to include more healthy habits, yoga, staying in nature, walking, eating better (hate processed food - I'm Italian after all...cuisine is in my DNA), natural and alternative therapies like chromatherapy and aromatherapy (my flatmate is experimenting a bit with me). Oh, I kinda hate technology - social media are not my thing (no facebook, Snapchat is evil, Instagram is used by me maybe once a month if I wanna share a nice sunset). I hate the fact that people are constantly online looking at their phone and totally missing out on anything real going on around them.

I can be pretty talkative sometimes, so be prepared. But on the other hand I love listening to people sharing their experiences, especially if related to travels.

I can enjoy discovering by myself (museums are something I need to do solo for instance...), but I also love discovering with other people and being shown peculiar things that locals know. Sharing experiences is definitely my aim.

Normally if I hppen to travel by myself, I stay in an hostel, where people are more sociable and open to meet others. Funny fact: both times I've done this in Paris I made friends with Russian girls :P

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Depends, normally I like Indie-pop and jazz (jazz is for when I need to calm down)

Books - I love books that teach you something, hence normally not too much of a fan of sci-fi. I'd go more for readings with psychological insights.

Movies - Not too much of a fan of movies with lot of fights and blood (or violence in general)

Love sunsets, reading, summer breeze, starry sky, chilling in the park on a sunny day
