I'm Giulia, a 21-year-old Italian girl who is passionate about art and nature. since childhood I live in contact with nature, with my house in the hills near the famous Castel del Monte. My family and me are passionate about organic farming and extreme sports, such as cross and quod races. I attended high school studying mainly humanistic subjects, such as Greek, Latin and foreign literature. I learned English well attended private courses, and partly French through school. Now I study in Rome cinema and show; I travel a lot for this reason too. I love discovering new places and I love visual arts, so I love seeing many museums.

Music, Movies, and Books

Cinema is my greatest passion, I love the genre of thrillers like science fiction, I love movies from the 50s and documentaries. There are some directors like Gus Van Sant, Gaspar Noè, Martin Scorsese, Xavier Dolan that I prefer, but I love cinema in general and I never stop discovering it. I really like Godard and Renoir from Nouvelle Vogue, like Fellini and Antonioni from Italian Neorealism.
As far as music is concerned, I love live shows such as parties, singer-songwriters and groups, techno music and classical music; so I think I have notable capacity in this regard.
My favorite band is Sigur Ros, but I could add Neil Young, like Aphex Twin or Fabrizio de Andre.
For reading, I prefer Italian literature, but among the favorite authors there is Bauman, sociologist who often opened my eyes on many aspects of reality. The list is long though and could continue indefinitely.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would be pleased to be hosted, how much to host. To my landlord I would certainly offer some typical Italian product, which has never been satisfied. And I would certainly bring with me my modest knowledge, which can still provide points of interest and development. I would be happy to share the space of a citizen of the country that I host, in total respect and trying to share special moments together.
