Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Hello everyone! I'm new to couchsurfing, even though I had already heard of it from many (enthusiastic) friends.
The reasons why I decided to join in are multiples, but the main one is that meeting new people, especially from other countries and realities, is extremely enriching, stimulating, and fun! ...and I'm sure you agree. ;)
Due to my living situation, I cannot host anyone at the moment, but I'd be more than happy to play host by showing what my city, Torino, has to offer! We could also just hang out together, and see what it turns out!
I'm a university student and I'm lucky enough to still get the chance to travel sometimes. I'd love to be hosted by a local since I believe it's the best way to EXPERIENCE how it is like to live in the place you are visiting; this is something tourists always try to find when travelling: real lives and people.

Algo increíble que he hecho

When I was 17 I spent a year as an exchange student in Texas. I will not lie: at the beginnig it was difficult - the mentality and lifestyle were much different than I had imagined. But then, what a surprisingly amazing feeling when I realized that the new culture wasn't 'foreign' anymore - that was the turning point.
