About Me

Hi! I' m an Brazilian student of Architecture and Urban Design staying in Portugal for half an year doing Erasmus. I want to discover all that I can during the period that I'm here, travelling as much as possible, since I live in Rio de Janeiro, and travelling to Europe from Brazil is usually very expensive.
I currently live with a few Portuguese people, and I love learning from them and exchanging experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always liked to meet people from different places and I strongly believe this kind of program is a great opportunity to do so. I come from a very diverse environment, since my family is Argentine, Italian and Brazilian, and I can adapt very well to new scenarios. I believe life is about sharing, so there's no reason why during a trip we should be by ourselves in hotel rooms, and since I really like travelling by myself, I think it would be great to meet local people and be helpful.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like alternative rock, indie rock, folk, blues, jazz and so on.
As far as movies go, I like from blockbusters to very philosophic and strange movies.
I usually spend more time drawing them readind, but I'm a fan of some classics, like Hemingway.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got a scholarship to study Architecture in Rio and my university enabled me to do this exchange program in Portugal, and it's been amazing to stay alone in a new country, away from my comfort zone and getting to know myself as much as others. I've done some travelling already, and I hope to do a lot more and enriching this experience as much as I can.

Teach, Learn, Share

Architecture, drawing, History, and cultural diversity. I hope to be able to learn a little bit of the place that I'm staying by a local point of view, understanding a a little more about what it is like to like somewhere else.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Humor, sympathy and cultural exchange.
I can bring a perspective of what is it like to live in Brazil, specially in Rio de Janeiro, and also my experience in Portugal and in Texas.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, England, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, United States
