About Me

Hi everyone! I'm Giulia!
I'm an italian girl based in Pisa, after a short period in Barcelona where I was doing a traineeship in Environmental Biotechnologies. At the moment I'm travelling through Brasil for six weeks with my best friend Maria Lara! (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/emmeelle). The aim of this journey is to improve my portuguese, improve my capoeira, taste approximately everything I see, learn how to cook some brasilian receipts, learn everything I can about BR, see places and (these two next will definitely surprise you) have lot of fun and meet people (wo-oh).
I'm a good listener (and good speaker too!) and I really like people that speak with no filters, as I'm sure that the best sharing experience happen when you put yourself naked in front of others.
My personal aim is to complain less and less everyday and to learn more: every situation is an occasion to understand something new and I found really inspiring people that have figured out how to do it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always used CS both to find people to meet up and to find hosts or in general people who cant teach me things about the place I'm visiting.
I love hosting when I have free time, so I'm sure I can show you something and dedicate you time, even if I agree in spending time alone while being hosted (I really love travelling and spending some time alone!).

Music, Movies, and Books

I read but I forget which books I read and every week I'm obsessed with some different music/band/singer.. let's discover together in which literature/musical week I am!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think I've done many little things that sound incredible to me but unfortunately I always forget to write them down so they finish in a hidden room of my memory with the book I've read (read above).
Anyway I can try making a little list: I've overcomed some of my fears (this sounds so deep..), I've built a strong net of friends, I've done something similar to a handstand on my head (thank you capoeira), I've driven through the Oarkney Islands watching the most amazing stars of my life, I got graduated (for a while it didn't seem so easy to happen XD), I've learnt how to cook risotto (and sometimes I do it right) and I hope to remember something else while talking

Teach, Learn, Share

At the moment I can't imagine something that I really can teach to someone...maybe italian cooking? :) On the other hand I'm really curious about almost everything so it can happen that I completely immerse you in questions!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer you enthusiasm about almost every proposal you can made me: top proposal are the ones that involved something with nature, urban exploring, food by the way :) I can also offer a good listening and a good italian meal!
I'm an an autonomous guest and I like autonomous people.
