About Me

I am the eldest of 5 siblings and that is probably why I like to share with others, help people and make them feel at ease.
I love to travel, explore and discover.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My main goal in life is to visit the world and discover new places and cultures, and what better way to do this other than meeting someone who can show me things from the inside, give me some "expert's advice" and maybe help me shape a different perspective and have a deeper insight into the place I am visiting?!

Interests

I would say that most of the things of the world interest me so I'll have to narrow down my list to the most important things towards which I feel a strong drive.

Travelling: it is the greatest tool to discover, meet people and cultures and unbury the treasures the world has to offer, it always allow you new perspectives and it really helps open up the mind and leave behind some of the limits imposed by cultures.
Photography: it is with no doubt the best way I satisfy (or at least try to) the urge of expressing myself, I have a huge desire to capture the essence of cultures and people and moments, preserving their nature but at the same time being the storyteller.
Food: I love to eat and I love to cook; I think food is a huge part of every culture, it is widely used as a way to bond with others, it is a window on lands that are far away from us and it's just so powerful in every way (and tasty!)
Riding motorcycles: I was raised in a family of bikers and I just can't have enough of moving on the two wheeles

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't hide I'm pretty proud of having travelled (some of) Vietnam with a friend and two motorbikes, if you want to know more about it I've written a blog about it: www.spadaforaphoto.com/blog

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be more than happy to teach, learn (how to make) and share food with my guests and hosts.
I am an avid learner so will absorb whatever knowledge you will be willing to share with me and I hope I'll be able to teach you something, even only by welcoming you into my house in a warm mediterranean way! ;)
