About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to enjoy the most from life, as I'm young and world doesn't give you so many answers! So I'm search of my answers: it might be in Italy, in Brasil, in China, or anywhere!

ABOUT ME

I'm Giulia from Italy, I'm still studying to do my research for the final thesis to finally graduate as soon as possible. In the meanwhile I work as a check in agent in the closest airport in my area. I'm an outgoing person, sunny, fun, curious about life and Italian of course ;)

PHILOSOPHY

I don't know when or where my education will end, but I think that anyone of us isn't perfect and we never end to learn new things in life, according to a humble way of seeing yourself. I Always want to learn from my errors, to go on and become a better person. So what else? This is not a simple question, it's all to discover.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mostly I surf, because I lived on my own, but nowadays I don't unfortunately.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first time I couchsurfed, it was in Lyon, with 2 other foreign fiends on the occasion of Fete des Lumière! Amazing in any sense, the Young boy was very honest and entertaing! I got a good opinion of couchsurfing so.
A couple of months after, I've been in Amsterdam with a Greek and a Spanish friend and the guys hosting us were very nice, cheerful, funny and we couldn't ask any better for that travel...awesome!
After Amsterdam we continued our travel, going to Lille (northern France)to enjoy my 'back to the past' memories. The madame who opened her house for us was charming, full of life and grace, a great example of what I woul like to become one day in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I thinks it's one of my favourite hobbies. Being quite busy in the last months, I Always update my list of movies to watch, because I'm so keen on discovering what it is about. On the other hand I do't really appreciatre going to the cinema: I'd rather prefer staying home, seeing a downloaded movie of mine, of which I looked for information so I know what I'm going to watch, under a plaid, with something to eat or drink, with someone that I love, or perhaps loves me! Better if reciprocical...I'm not going to see the titles of movies, because I liked soooo many, so I prefere to say my opinion about movies. The titles can be discussed face to face :D
Music: many many gender, but I'm the one who as soon as discover a ner gender or a new grroup, can't get it out of her mind and needs to know as much as possible about the new discover. I love also ethnic music, it makes it feel so traditional, suggestive, entertaining about a new culture. I love those kind of fiers where the air is full of popular (meaning that belongs to the real people) music. I like music of the past, 60's, 70's, 80's, Italian music is awesome, Always an emotion to gather all together and sing along the night the rythms that probably reminds us of something that we NEVER lived. I like pop music, it gives a sound to our days, as much as rock music does. I don't erally like commercial artist that nowadays produce almost the same boring kind of songs, with same words, same concepts, same sounds, same horny videos...but when I hear one of those song, noone can't get it out of my mind!!AHAHHAH they're evil...
Books: as well, I like reading books. The kind of books that few people read, not so popular, with unknown titles. I love Russian literature even if it's quite hard to read. Few months ago I really couldn't wait to have some spare time to read some novels(Kundera, Nobokov, Baricco, Follett, to say someone...). The next one I'm going to read will be 'Diary of Hanna Frank', I hope to find it in the library next to where I live...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just few, or so many. I find it hard to select just one thing that I preferred most, it depends on when and with who you live it, mostly. I prefere to believe that I'll do so many Amazing things in future, of which I'll remind forever and to be proud of.
Amazing is Amsterdam, is when I make friendship, when I make someone feel happy, when I organize a new travel, when I cook something so special for an even special person, is when I see the face of a person I love when I give him a surprise, when I knew I was selected for the job I'm doing, when I left my for Erasmus experience and when I came back for Christmas holydays (noone knew that). Life must be full of surprises to be worthy living.
