About Me

CURRENT MISSION

becoming a teacher

ABOUT ME

I´m 26 years old; I come from a small town near Reggio Emilia, in the north of Italy.
I've just finished my master in Contemporary History at the University of Bologna (where i also lived two years ago!) and now i'm trying to became a teacher. Last september i moved in my boyfriend's house in Romagna (200 km from my home town) and i'm planning my new life here!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard often about Couchsurfing, especially during my erasmus year and i think it's a perfect way to travel meeting new people and... making new friends?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first time i had a couchsufring experience i was with some erasmus friends completely lost under the rain in Copenhgen and a guy arrived asking us if we needed a bed... an angel! After that we discovered he was a couchsurfer and i decided to start! From that i'm been hosted in Tuscany and in France several time and it has always been awesome!

Interests

Obviously i like travelling! i like sports (i play volleyball since many years), literature, arts, concerts, cinema, my last obsession is Naruto (Japanise Manga)and I have a mania for Ikea (I'm able to spend hours just looking the catalogue!)
I love to have dinner with my friends, because i like to cook (and i think i'm doing it quite well!) and to drink good wine. (maybe that's the reason why our last trip was around France...)
I'm also getting interested by sustainable development and green policies.
latest interest is gardenig: me and Lorenzo are growing some vegetables on our balcomy.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movie: I like all the western of Sergio Leone, almost all the movie of Tim Burton, some classics like Dead poet society, Novecento, Forrest Gump, La vita è Bella, The snatch, The Goonies ( I can't feel the Christmas without it!)and many others better that these, but it's always as when i'm in front of a video rental... i forget all the titles!
Series: South Park, Scrubs, Boris, LOST (even if that religious final...)and Bordwalk empire.
Books: The little Prince, The Lord of the Ring, All the books of Pennac, the master and Margarita, a lot of Italian writers (Benni, Baricco, Calvino, Ammaniti, Dario Fo...) and I have to admit i also read all the books of Harry Potter, but it comes from when i was child... i was a book-eater:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I walked on the sea...and i even played snow-rugby on it!
(in Finland everything is possible!)

Teach, Learn, Share

mmm... maybe i can teach how to cook some italian dishes and i can explain a bit of history! (expecially about Reggio that was quite involved in the left terrorism during the seventies) and i'd like to speak english and french (to improve my language skills!) and to learn something about foreign culture and policy.
