About Me
Hi guys!
I'm Giulia, I'm from Italy and I've been living in London since 2010, where I got lost but I also somehow found myself.
I'm living with my boyfriend who's from Spain and we share a converted warehouse in North London with another friend. The area where we live is one of its own: there are a lot of big warehouses around here and it's like living in a kind of community. It is quite unusual to know your neighbors in London, but here is different!
We have a sofa, which is really comfy, another one which is not so comfy and we also have a single mattress to put on the floor. You would have to sleep in the living room, unfortunately, which might be uncomfortable if you want privacy, but hey, it's COUCHsurfing, right?
My passion number one is obviously traveling. I've been bitten by the travel bug at a very young age and it will stay with me forever.
Then I love stories. I would listen to people stories until dawn and this is maybe what brought me to study journalism.
One of the things I love about London is the opportunities that it gives you to get closer to different cultures on a daily basis and to get to try different dishes every time you go out. Yes, I'm a foodie as well.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music, it's hard to pick a favorite one!
The funny thing is that years ago I was so much into reggae that I managed to get bored of it. Joking. Impossible to get bored of it, but I don't listen so much of it as I used to.
Movies? I hate horror. They scare the shit out of me, really. Zombie then, are the worst, Oh God I cannot even think about them. Drama? I cry for EVERYTHING. So yeah, I'm quite susceptible.
My favourite tv shows are Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Mr. Robot and Fargo.
Books? I buy too many books and then I don't read them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once climbed Stromboli, a volcano island next to Sicily.
Witnessing a volcano eruption has been such a powerful experience that I will never forget!
Mother nature in action.
