Thomas and Giulia here.
We are a couple from Italy that love travelling, obviously (otherwise why damn are we here?! 😅)

We quit our permanent jobs (in a factory) in Italy to move to very far-far-away from home, Australia! 🦘
Before this, we spent 1 month working in an eco-village in Tuscany and 1 month as pet sitters in Malta.

After we moved to Australia, we lived in Sydney for 5 months, working in a café and in a dog care shop (Me) and as gardener (Thomas)
We did a road trip along the Australian east coast, mixing travel and work in farms 🌱
Now we are embarked on an enthusiastic journey around south-east Asia.
We are always looking for adventure and authenticity during our travels, that means we prefer spending our time and money in genuine experiences rather than luxury.

✨ Respect and kindness are our watchword, and we are easily adaptable.✨

We are basically two down-to-earth people, that love sharing stories, advices and play board-games with other travelers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We think CouchSurfing it's a great and unusual way to travel, giving us the opportunity to connect with local people and different lives, spending such a genuine time discovering hidden and authentic places or stories.
After Australia, we would like to travel around the world (we'll start from South East Asia) and CouchSurfing would be an amazing and interesting way to do it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-a road trip from Italy across France, Spain and Portugal (6200 km; sleeping in hostels, our car or camping. AMAZING)
-slept in the Jordan desert
-paragliding
-quit our permanent jobs is one of the biggest step we made

Teach, Learn, Share

Thomas is a bass player, and I'm a photographer, so we like everything connected to creativity.

I'm fascinated about everything connected with nature, and I'm good to produce natural product with medicinal herbs and salt... sounds a bit hippy, isn't it? xD
But rather we are that kind of nerd guys who play board games all together and drink a beer at the pub.

-PET SITTING: we love animals and I have a diabetic dog so I'm able to do insulin shots 🐶
