Hi Everyone!

I'm Giuliana, Italian living in Malta( at the moment!)

To describe who I am is never easy but I will try: I'm a traveller.
Could sound a bit lame but this is the only definition that comes to my mind, thinking about myself!
I love to see new places but, mostly, I love to meet new people and cultures.

It all started when I was 17 and, thanks to a scholarship and my mom, I spent 1 year in the wild State of Tennessee(USA), that experience changed my life, opening my mind and giving me the opportunity to meet so many people and understand so many different points of view that, literally, blow my mind!

Since that moment I always tried to travel, I worked as flight attendant " to live the dream" but despite I loved the job very much I couldn't accept some compromised and after 4 years up in the air, I'm now working in an office, studying digital marketing and trying to understand how to make money travelling!

I have some really firm principles like 1) Respect everyone, doesn't matter race or religion
2 )Anyone has something to offer, learn from it.
3) Do not complain: if something is not up to your standard than change it,
we accept what we think we deserve!

I'm a Capricorn, a bit stubborn and i usually have a plan A but also B and C and D lol
Trying to change this side of my personality to learn to live the moment and i have to say that meeting new people is exactly the right therapy !

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

My first solo travel was 4 years ago, after a painful break-up. It was one of the best travel of my life.
I discovered how beautiful is to meet new people and culture, how amazing is to share your experience with strangers that at the end of 4/5 days u can call friends!

I guess this is the main reason why I'm here, hostels are great, but sometimes if you really want to look for a local experience you need to look somewhere else!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I have no problem saying i'm a bit ignorant on subject like music or movies, i pretty much like everything!
But, at least, i'm really passionate about books.
My favourite writer is without any doubt Milan Kundera but i like many different literary genres!

Lehren, lernen, teilen

When I was 8 I went to a day trip on a farm-house, went on a pony and never went down, horse riding is one of my biggest passion and i would love to teach the basic to this amazing sport to anyone is curious about it!

Also, I'm really proud of my being Italian and part of being Italian is being able to cook amazing pasta, i can say I'm pretty good at it! I can teach you how to cook and maybe some Italian!
