About Me

Hi, I'm Giuliana. I'm 24 years old.
I work at a bank. I recently finished my undergraduate studies on Political Science at the University of Buenos Aires. At the moment I'm studying my second degree, this time on Economics.
Furthermore, I enjoy playing the violoncello very much and I'm also planning to learn how to play the bass soon.
I have an enormous interest in travelling because I think that the learning process in that kind of experience make you more wise and genuine.
I have so many different interests, that I enjoy learning new ones from the people I get to know.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here thanks to a good friend of mine, who emphatically recommended I should try a different way to access and discover the world. Instead of enclosing myself in a hotel room, having a travel agency fixing everything for me thus making my experience in another country a very private, distant and encapsulated one, without any direct interaction with the people and culture; I wanna try the opposite, no external plans, just a direct bond between the people, their customs, culture, food, way of life and I. Especially in a manner that a profound exchange between us can be generated, even if it's only on a couple of days time. Maybe sometimes that's all it takes.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Godfather, specially the second one, Star Wars, The Lord of the rings, The bicentenary men.
Music, I like argentinian rock, like Eruca Sativa, Seru Giran or the work of Spinetta or Cerati, the general rock, like The Red Hot Chili Peppers, the tango, the clasical music (Tchaikovzky and Edgar are my favorites, and off course, Debussy), and maybe a little of everything capable of reach emotions.
Books, I like the work of Isaac Asimov, Stephen King and Tolkien. I also enjoy clasic literature, like Travel to the west, the Monkey King.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mmmmmhn... I don't know.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach about my country's political thought, since I majored on that area of study. However I also enjoy listening and learning from other people's perspectives.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Not only can I offer you a great time here in Buenos Aires, but I can also show you around the really nice Paraná river, which is close to my hometown.
