ABOUT ME

I am an installation artist who has been traveling the country for about a year working on a collaborative project with my best friend! I come from the land of California, raised in a small town behind the Headlands with seals, fog horns and fishing boats. My art is my life and my life is my art. The mundane and imposed standard accommodations of the human existence are what I strive to dissolve. I strive for something beyond. There is nothing I want more than to live a life worth living.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have used CS many times, I just recently started my own account but I have been on for a while, my friend and I have a profile under:

as we were traveling together!

CouchSurfing is one of the most incredible ways to travel. I can't imagine ever booking hotels again while I'm traveling. I have made some amazing friends through CS and the level of trust that it forces you to practice is kind of magical.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One day my best friend and I went to Glacier National Park with some new friends... We explored and met some lovely mountain goats on an unusually warm day. As the sun was setting we decided to stop by the lake. We all stripped down to our nickers and jumped into the glacial run-off, swam out. the water was completely still and when we stopped and looked around us all we saw was the mountains and the trees and the sky reflecting in the water surrounding us. it... was.

I am pretty good with power tools/ building things.
I can teach you a thing or two about:

Gluten free/ vegan baking (yum!)
I am REALLY good at organizing, no not saying I am organized, but I have a perk to being a bit OCD which is I can fit an insane amount of stuff into spaces/boxes/cars. It is crazy. Really.
