About Me

Sorry but this month (July 2019) I can't host any people more due to problems with family and work. Please read It, I work In Slovenia and living in Trieste, I can host two people (no more), I live in a three-room apartment alone (you can see the photos below) so request like "we are 8 people and we only want to have a shower" will be refused. I AM NOT AN HOSTEL, notice that If I write that I can't host people on the calendar probably I really can't host you (You can try but is very hard) If I host people i try to stay with them as much as I can (despite work and other things) but I can't do things like give you my key If I am out for work, or giving you very good timetables of buses to Slovenia ( because there are not so much and I use It only one time years ago, is better to go to Slovenia and Croatia by car). Thanks guys, hope you understand that I can host people but Is not my work and I try to do the best (and the idea of couchsurfing is to host but if you can, not that you have to host everytime). And please, if you ask me one month before to stay answer me if I ask you something about your staying (I will do the same if you ask me something)

I Live in Trieste where I stop after university, I work in Koper in Slovenia. I live alone and I can host two person, not more, because my house is little. If I say yes to you please confirm me at the least the day before. If you ask me to stay for the night in the afternoon of the same day is a little harder because I do a lot of things during the week (but sometimes I do that, if you want to try :) ) . So write me as soon as you can (my house is not an hostel 😅 sometimes I am out with friends or doing other things and I can't answer you in the same moment you write me )
During weekend, (better one or two times a month) I can be out and far from Trieste because my hometown is 2 hours far from Trieste and I go there to meet my relatives. If you respect or try to respect this rules no problem Giulio

For Surfers guests:

If you come in the weekend I can show you something more, If you come during the week I can only go out at night (during day I work). Trieste is not a city full of disco, is better going out, see the centre and take a beer.
What can we do apart from that? Visit Trieste city center (there are very interesting things like the serbian Church, San Giusto Castle and the old city), on Thursday I can (If is not difficult for other reasons) show you where I do my radio program and you can stay when I do It, during weekend in summer we can go to an osmiza (I will tell what is, is a tipical place where to go and eat Trieste area :) ) During winter in Trieste is cold, sometimes there is snow, the worst point is the tipical wind called bora cold and very strong (180 or more km/h :/) so is more difficult to go outside. If you want to come in October there is an important boat regata, Barcolana, about 2000 boats take part in this race, there are also free concert and parties in the center (It's the most important "fair" or sort of that in the city :) )

For Surfers hosts:
At the moment I only host people in my apartment but If I came as a couchsurfer I will respect your times (no problems to wake up early) and spaces, just like to share stories and different views of the city that I'm going to visit
