About Me

In life you never stop changing and learning about yourself and the people and the world that surround you.
There was a time in my life when i found it hard to even find a reason to move on, but thanks to a journey and to amazing people around the world i've been able to fight my monsters, and learn to live with those that remained.
I've lived my whole life in a small village, north of Italy, close enough to Turin, and after Erasmus I started to find it waaay too small for me.
That's why I've decided to leave "home" for a time and live an adventure across Europe; now I can genuinely call myself a Spontaneous Journeyman.

*PHILOSOPHY*
"Spontaneous Is The Way"
No matter the amount of preparation, it is always possible that something new will come up and revolution your plans. So don't take any plan too seriously, be ready to accept, enjoy and adapt to the change, move in harmony with it, live of it.
There is nothing that can ruin you as much as your own negativity, so just chill out, a solution will come, be positive... "don't worry, be happy"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

An year spent in Sweden with the Erasmus program left me with an intense thirst for travel and for meeting new people and ways of life. If everything goes well, i will be traveling a lot in the next years, who knows where

Reading (novels and comics, mostly adventure, sci-fi and fantasy... yes, I'm a nerd and I'm proud of it, but I don't bite, I promise);

Music, Movies, and Books

Many different kinds of music, especially classic rock, but i'm not too picky.
Action and sci-fi movies, mostly. I also like horrors (no splatters thanks) and fantasy.
Among the favourites: Princess Bride, The Cabin in the Wood, Matrix, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, anything from Tarantino (Django, Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction especially), and the list goes on...
There are many great works that i love, some of them are: IT, the Fionavar Tapestry, Harry Potter...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Staring at the Northern Lights wile laying on a frozen lake under the most beautiful starry sky you have ever imagined.
Getting lost in Venice while hitch-hiking back home.
Doing the Camino de Santiago.
A very convoluted low budget solo Euro-trip, which included the Camino and concluded with the Woodstock Festival, in Poland, and lasted over 3 months
A most recent trip to South East Asia, also 3 months.

Teach, Learn, Share

well, i guess i can teach some Italian? i don't know how much of what i know and can do you'd want me to teach you, but I'll always be glad to.
For my part, i hope to learn something about the people and the places i'll visit, maybe some new words from languages I had never dreamt of trying to speak, maybe some new recipes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm confident in my cooking skills, for the rest I hope you will enjoy the company ;) I know some nice stories, and i will have a few of my own by the time we meet.
