About Me

Me, well.. Hope we'd meet!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I reckon couch surfing is one of the best ways of getting involved with people while travelling. It's a precious, funny and clever way of bumping into someone-else, somewhere-else.

Music, Movies, and Books

Jazz, Folk, Blues, World Music, Ghnawa, Reggae, Country, Singer-songwriters, and anything gives me vibes.

I love cinema, if I could I'd see them all.

As for the books, here comes the tough point. Latest books I've been reading are "What am I doing here?" By Bruce Chatwin as well as "The Song Lines" by the same author. Then, we move towards French symbolist René Daumal with its "Mount Analogue". Richard Bach is one of my favourites, with Primo Levi, Italo Calvino, Hermann Hesse, H.D.Thoreau, Philip Pullman and many many others. I love poetry, also. Edgar Lee Masters, Whitman, Neruda, Alda Merini, TS Eliot, and again many others..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I play and sing my own songs on the guitar, usually I go busking on the streets but it ain't always that easy to bring the instrument with you (especially when flying)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook plenty of dishes, mainly from the Italian tradition but also from other countries traditions and from my fantasy's special-place.
I am a pretty good cook, I may make you homemade filled-pasta as ravioli or tortellini or whatever. Let's say that if you were to put me in your kitchen, something will happen!
