I am 20 years old and was born and raised in Belford Roxo, in the Baixada Fluminense region of Rio de Janeiro. I am currently a second year student at Babson College, a small school in Massachusetts. I am passionate about social justice, nature and deep conversations. I am the founder of ABSORVIDAS, which aims to lead eco-friendly period products and menstrual education to prisons in the state of Rio de Janeiro. In June 2020, the organization carried out its first action, taking 2000 bioabsorbents to 500 inmates at Talavera Bruce Penitentiary. I have four sisters and one of them is my twin - which gave me great and funny stories to share. I love going to the beach and I'm currently trying to learn Spanish to feel more connected to Latin America, as I come from Brazil, one of the only countries in the region that don't have spanish as a first language.

I love to teach, learn and share languages. I feel like I haven't really met someone if I haven't listened to them talk in their native language. Even if I can't understand it, it's beautiful to see one's body language and voice tone change as one of the most powerful aspects of their identity is shared out loud.
