About Me

AAA:

Since i believe the true spirit of cs is to share and be open to strangers I WON'T DISCRIMINATE: so i accept girls, boys, transgender, couples of any form and sex, young people, old people, family with children, family with animals, everyone is welcome (as much as i have free time and availability). Also, I don't expect you to write a poem about myself and about how awesome my profile is. I wont ask you to put at the beginning of your message a code word so you can prove you have read my profile (WTF?! why so many people do that?!) Seriously, I am a human i also do copy/paste when i am pressured to find a host and there are 4 millions interesting profiles on the website. So no worries, you'll have time to discover how awesome I really am in real life ahahahah. Just be yourself that's what I am interested about! Not want CS to be a race on who can flatter me the most. And yes sometimes people just need a free bed and I am fine with it. Sometimes sharing also means giving a hand in times of need.

ABOUT ME

Usually I don't like writing about myself in empty boxes..they always seem so full of expectations!!!But i gotta give u some kind of description of myself so there we go. Basically, I'm a sweet and in-love-with-life girl raised in a little town in the mountains close to Tuscany.I spent my teen years free as a bird climbing trees and then I moved to the city(Bologna) to study. After that I've been travelling a lot, both for studies and for pleasure. I love travelling and dig out into other people cultures, I love human beings, I love this beautiful world. I am a dreamer and only recently I have learnt that dreams do come true, if we stick to them long enough. This is how my journey started, and I was magically brought from a little town in tuscany to the desert of Africa, the ocean of Australia, remote villages in India and so forth.

After a year long journey throughout Australia and Asia that has - again- changed my perspective of the world and myself, I haved moved to a new place, the city of Nantes in France. I had never been there and I barely spoke the language when i first arrived, but France treated me well :) . Now me and Flo (my dear love, bestfriend, travelling buddy, nomad soul, room mate, and fantasic human being..bref my partner) just got back from a new adventure, in the land of colors and magic, the land of contradictions and love and spices, the land of mistery and diversity....Mother India :) We are (again) settling down in Nantes even if I feel like hitting the road again :)

PHILOSOPHY

The only dream worth having is to dream that you will live while you are alive, and die only when you are dead. To love, to be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and vulgar disparity of the life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never to forget.
Arundhati Roy

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i really really really believe in a world without ANY BORDER OR NATION and i think that couchsurfing it's one of the way in which we could get it!We don't need only huge political changes...we need to change first our minds and the way in which we see the world...and i think couchsurfing is a new way that is going in this direction...not the only one and not the right one maybe...but it's a way, it's a little change.

I can now define myself as an "experienced couchsurfer" ahaha that sounds so serious, but yes i have used it a lot both for hosting and for travelling and I only had good experience.

Interests

I'm desirous and curious of everything at the same time.
Those are some things that I do like:Love&Freedom; The smell of my Mum's kitchen; Hippy vans; watching my little cat while he's sleeping; Put my leg in the bed, feel the sweetness of the sheet and stretch my muscles with many muscolar vibrations; travelling; Eat pizza as musch as i can; smile into stranger's faces; hitch-hiking and throw myself into the arms of every single person I meet; the seashore because it is a place that doesn't exist, neither land nor sea;and a lot more like dancing;hugging; singing; cooking; screamin; kissing; tugging; loving; learning; running ....Those are some things that I do not like:Every words that divides people in groups; people who chew loud and with their mounths open;the idea that people need authority and the idea that money has any true value; nation and borders(love for an abstract notion such as nation is cancelling first your affiliation to an international humanity);Fake smiles; presence of policeman at peaceful demonstrations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Africa(Benin) in a development project for children without parents....this was the most wonderful experience of my life..i love Africa with all my heart!!!!!!!!
During this period I've visited the international festival of Voodoo....an universe of music, spirits, magic, dance and blood...definitely the most amazing thing seen in my lifetime.....

Teach, Learn, Share

I think that desires and dreams are the only real things and if You stick with them you'll be happy.
I really believe in love and freedom.Every kind of freedom:Freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear...I function like a free being. I think getting that freedom is a social duty for everyone of us. I think what we owe each other is a celebration of life and to replace fear and hopelessness with fearlessness and joy.And i believe that this is possible if you just do your little bit without thinking of the bigness of what you stand against.i don't know if this is what i can teach you or what i can learn from you.....i guess both!
