About Me

I'm Giuseppe, but friends call me Peppe! I'm from Taranto, which is in the south of Italy. I'm a friendly person who loves to meet new people and culture, looking for new experiences and something new to learn from whoever I meet and wherever I go!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing thanks to the experience some couchsurfer shared with me. They showed me that this is a huge opportunity to get to know directly somebody of the place. I believe that a trip is made special by the people you are with, and couchsurfing may help me to find some.

Interests

I'm a really active guy, always looking for doing something and never stop. I'm indeed, really sportive, I like hiking in the nature or visiting the city walking and discovering small streets by chance instead of follow the main touristic paths. Moreover, since I'm an engineer working on renewable energy, I like science and the environment.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like many different kind of music, but if I had to pick one it is rock for sure! My favorite book is "The count of Montecristo".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking 25 km to reach Trolltunga in Norway in half of the suggested time (it was dangerous to be late because of the night approaching).

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I could teach engineering subjects, but I guess that there's no host looking for that!!! I can teach Italian language and italian cousine (I'm pretty good in cooking, as my friends say). I'm learning Spanish and French.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My kitchen performances, hoping to please my host. And any kind of help in the house.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, China, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Paraguay, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, United States, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In
