About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Graduating in Medicine ;-)

ABOUT ME

I'm a very reliable, generous and kind person. I have a very positive and optimistic character.

I like Culture in all its aspects and I always look for new things to know and share with people I meet or live with.

My studies have progressively made me discover the Beauty of people: every one has wonderful stories to tell, among dreams and experiences, aspectations and hopes, illnesses and difficulties, successess and Joy.

Actually one of my beloved activities is volunteering for SISM, a medical students' association dealing with international exchanges, medical education, public and reproductive health and human rights (the last one is the now the main field of activity) - thanks to SISM I have discovered the power of people, and I'm definetely in love with it!

Currently I am spending my Erasmus (October 2015 - June 2016) in Bydgoszcz, Poland - and from here I want to discover Europe!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

my first - but unfortunately still the only - time on CS was in London, august 2009. For me, who was just 18, it has been the most thrilling experience in my life!
I am just looking forward of doing another one :D

Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to know new people in new countries, and regives to journeys the pleasure of travelling. Only local people, in fact, can let you discover the real spirit of a city or place - thing that neither the best guide can give - so that the travel becomes unique and unforgettable!

Interests

LITERATURE
Since I was a child I have been a true nerd - I don't feel ashamed by saying I loved studying and knowing more and more things. My biggest passions were history and geography, but then I started reading books after books and I couldn't stop until my medical studies didn't leave enough time to do that :(

ART
Definetely, I'd really love to live in a museum of own a gallery! My favourite painters are Rothko, Van Gogh and the last Monet . but the best art period for me is the Dutch Golden Era :D

MEDICINE
I have decided to become a doctor at the age of 6 and since then my passion for this became bigger and bigger. Now I am quite at the end of the course and I can't wait to work - hopefully far from Italy ;)
