About Me

Well, I am basically a woman, 30 years old, working as social educator and theatre of the oppressed facilitator. I love good food, books, nature in general, trees and forests in particular. I come from Sicily but I mostly live in Milan and I travel as much as I can. Nowaday I am facing for the first time what does mean travel alone , and I find it amazing and fearsome...Well, maybe thanks to couchsurfing it will be more encouraging 😉

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First, for what I've written about travelling alone for the first time. And in general it seems to me an incredible way to practice solidariety and universal brotherhood. Everywhere I've been, it happened to me that I found kind and gentle human beings who made me feel at home, at least in my heart. I just wanna do the same with others, and share some good time and experienced or just help in a step of their trip.

Music, Movies, and Books

I loved Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Isabel Allende and Neruda's poetry. Italian authors as Leopardi, Calvino, Benni, Buzzati and others. Perhaps my favourite books are Extremely loud, incredibly close by JSFoer and Be my knife by D.Grossman. I also appreciate fantasy books. In general i love books :) About music.. i must admit that I don't have a proper knowledge but i enjoy it.i like pink floyd, queen, the doors and reggae music, Bjork, Radiohead, Mogwai, Right Ros...And many I do not remember. Same about movies, I got attached to the Godfather and some Tarantino's movies. Always up to learn more about movies :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A long amazing travel in India, Nepal and China. Share a tea with a berber family in a moroccan cave. Social work in Kolkata, driving a local bus in rajasthan and living for a while in a Kali-centered temple. But also work as educator close to my house in Milan with some special, amazing kids and families.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am happy to learn as much as I can, especially what is deeply human or natural. I can share what i do using theatre and some good italian recipes, my company to hang out and silence, sometimes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would like to share my home, i probably can offer my time, a dinner and company
