Starting from April 2018 I moved back to Sicily to work in the tourism-transportation field. Before...

Since I care about people, I decided to invest my talent in working with a non-profit organization

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've begun my CS experience in Turkey: I've participated in a couple of CSurfers' meetings and nights in Istanbul and then in Rome. I've surfed a couch for a couple of days in Istanbul and I hanged out with some travellers
Apart from CS, my house have been always open to host friends from all over the world
Lately in Rome I've hanged out with a few girls and boys from different countries, showing them the city, having lots of fun and discovering lots of new things thanks to them

Interests

I love turkish culture, food and literature
I like doing long walks in the historical center of the cities and enjoying the beauty of architecture and landscape around me

So many films, musicians and books, mostly not mainstream
As everyone I'm on social networks and I share my interests on my accounts: you can see pictures of things I like on my Instagram, music I love on my Spotify, movies and event I attended on my Facebook, the job I deal with on my Linkedin.
Despite of that, I really believe that the best way to really know people and share experiences is talking in person :)

In 2017 I challenged myself to travel more, taking one trip per month...and I made it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach italian to spanish speakers, I've done it before...and it works!
I love showing the city around to travellers and visit with them unusual non-touristy spots
I can cook italian food and enjoy it around a very large table together with friends while drinking bottles of good red wine

Nowadays I cannot host people because I live in a shared flat, btw if you come by to Rome it will be my pleasure to show you around. I love people who read carefully the profiles, sometimes I can be a bit picky, so I will really appreciate if you write the keyword
