About Me
CURRENT MISSION
So, back in Amsterdam again after having lived in Vienna for 2 years. Made friends, had a lot of crazy experiences and managed to get my own VW camper van, woehoe! Currently living in a lovely house in the east of Amsterdam, with a rooftop and two of the best roommates a person can want! Right now I want to enjoy Amsterdam as much as I can and meet up with interesting people, share perspectives and make a bunch of cool art! And would also be cool to check out a couple of festivals, with the hope of eventually working for/with them as well.
ABOUT ME
I'm a social and open guy that loves to see much of the world and all the beings that inhabit her. I play the piano, guitar and like to sing (although I can't seem to remember the lyrics most of the time). Instead of having good conversations I also just love being quiet and doing some creative stuff together. When I see a kid playing with Lego's, you can count me in!
PHILOSOPHY
As you see yourself reflected in the world, so does the world see its own reflection in you! So be good, and the world will be good to you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been hosting quite a bit in Amsterdam, and had a great time with lots of great people. I host, cook and when I can act as a guide for my guests. I surfed with some of the best people ever, and it's great to see the spirit of genuine interest and hospitality staying alive in this community.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had some great people over, and learned so much about the world by just talking with them and sharing food and music. The more people I meet and travel, the more I feel the notion of distance is only a concept we seeded in ourselves. I traveled with a camper around Europe and stayed with some great people. A highlight was a private tour in a monumental but fully functional observatory in Vienna!
Interests
I love the little things and people that define a culture, I don't really care about huge structures and landmarks that are crowded with tourists. I'd rather spend all day getting lost in small alleys, market places, local shops and urban districts. In the end we're all the same funny lumps of stardust, and the more we interact and open up to each other the more it becomes apparent that we truly are one. You don't have to stand behind your religion or beliefs to share a delicious meal or make music together.

Music, Movies, and Books
Love to go to festivals, intimate deephouse/techno parties and I am quite the cinephile. I watch a lot of vintage movies, international cinema but also blockbusters. The Talented Mr. Ripley is one of my favorites.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swimming buck naked in the Mediterranean Sea at 6 AM after the greatest night out ever in Barcelona. And spending my New Year's Eve with the orphans in East Poland, that was magical.
Teach, Learn, Share
Don't be afraid to ask your guests to help out, washing the dishes together can be quite nice! You'll find that most people are happy to give you a hand, keep it fun for yourself too. Love life, but don't take it too seriously ;)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Share stories about life, human relations and nature. I can share a homemade dish with some delicious fish. I also love showing people around, discover little things of beautify together.
