About Me

Hello,

I am seeking adventure and have been planning a road trip across the states in my head for about 10 years! Finally I have a friend with the same idea and we are embarking on our adventure this summer.

I work in talent management in London and my friend is in the film business. We are on a tight budget so couch surfing seems like a good idea, and also it has been recommended by friends of ours.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This summer from mid July onwards myself and a friend will be travelling across the USA from NY to Los Angeles. We are not sure of the route we will be taking just yet!

If possible we would like to couch surf but even just to meet people who live in a particular area. I think the best way to see a place is with someone who lives there; they can recommend the little restaurants, cafes, walks, park that are off the tourist track.

Interests

I love reading, writing, random quirky indie films, art galleries, discovering new food, music, fashion, film making, script making, meeting new people, swimming in the sea, sitting at a coffee shop on my own musing, writing and just staring out the window.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love BBC radio 6 which plays an eclectic mix of old and new music from 1920s jazz to Arcade Fire to obscure Romanian dance music! I recently have a little obsession with film soundtracks, but that's only because I have started writing screen plays and find it very atmospheric and relaxing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We are very polite, tidy, respectful of space. We are also good fun and love experiencing a new culture. I am not much of a drinker and do not do drugs so probably staying with a party animal is not a good idea! But I do love meeting new people and think that I am pretty good guest.
