ABOUT ME

I'm a guy who have been traveling as much as possible all my life. I don't travel to see places but rather to meet different cultures. That is why I now work as a sailor (cadet). It's a job where I can both earn money and meet, as well as work with, people from all around the world.

Earlier in my life I was in the army where I had the change to meet and respect the Arabian culture when I was on a tour to Iraq.

PHILOSOPHY

As I wrote earlier I've traveled all my life, this is mainly because my parents who, when I was younger, brought me to all corners of the world. They learned me to look up the restaurents/bars etc. where the locals ate, drank and enjoyed themself, instead of finding the nearest guide who could tell me alot about the different areas, but who couldn't tell me about the people living there. I prefer to get that experience by myself when I'm out around people.

I guess my philosophy would be, to quote a famous Danish authour H. C. Andersen;
"to travel is to live".

I also believe in that men must create a better tomorrow instead of putting their trust in a god or godess.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been in Sheffield and in Belarus for a week, where I lived with local people. People from Belarus are very warm and gentle people.

I enjoy music very much and my taste is very widespread. I like both Metal as well as electronic and all in between.

I read alot, mostly whatever I stumple over at the library, fantasy, war, Sci-fi.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen Taj Mahal witch I rather proud of, a really special building.
I've been in Iraq as a soldier where I had the change to see and walk around, in Ur, which should be one of the oldest cities in the world. (Nothing but rubbles now, though).
I've been 10 yards from Axl, the lead singer from Guns and Roses, he's my hero.
