One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It was in the middle of a day that would carry me 100 miles down the coast in the rainy West Coast winter. I stopped for lunch in a small park and noticed a mushroom I had only seen in photographs! I walked over and bent to pick the tiny black false moral when I noticed a newt the size of my index finger. I was surprised, I had nearly stepped on the creature. I looked around and realized that the ground was littered with these small crawling fellows. This was a day that I was struck by. It was not the greatest nor was it the grandest sight but It was one that I have identified with and carried with me.
