One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer i was working as a lifeguard at the beach. Days mostly pass without a problem. For a month or so the job was pretty boring.
So that day i said to myself i should ve do something different. I bought pepsi that day instead of coca cola. I was thinking over my incredible change and how to handle this rest of the day.
Then a little girl came close to my chair. Told me her grandfather is afraid of the water but doctor said salted water would be good for him. At first i didnt paid a lot of attention, then started looking to me with that cat like eyes.
I asked her how can i help. She wanted me to persuade him going in to water.
Decided to help the girl and followed her to their place. After 15 min of talking he was quite stubborn. In the end he fell in to the same cute eyes trap as i did. He went to the sea. İ was thinking "yes its done now" then he suddenly stopped. telling me he s going back. İ know its not pretty nice of me to lift him and dropping him in to the sea. But in the end seeing the smile of that girl was priceless. She even shared her sandwich with me.
Even tho her grandfather made me lose my job because of what i did. i think it was the right thing.
