About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Aspire to inspire others to inspire others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have hosted many travellers in the past 10 years and couchsurfed just a few times on special occasions.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've enjoyed hosting couchsurfers and love the concept and community spirit of couchsurfing. We hope to set a good example as hosts so that the couchsurfers that we've hosted. will also want to be hosts when they make their way back home.

Interests

I love water in any form, snow, ice, waves, clouds, saltly, fresh, falling, flowing, raging, etc. . .

Petting animals at the zoo.

Learning from inspiring people.

I love to surf big waves!

  • performing arts

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all music, but rarely can make out the lyrics... I love the all the different sounds and the harmony created when the artist(s) find 'it'. Banco de Gaia's live sets are amazing!
I love the cinematic experience so much, we have a 3D screening room :)
The last book I read, I read because I had met the author while surfing my favourite wave in Mexico (In Search of Captain Zero is the name of the book)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few things that I've done that seem too crazy to be true...

I befriended a 300 pound wild crocodile.

I performed on stage with the founder of The Loveparade in front of a dancefloor of at least 60,000 people.

I saw a live grizzly bear's teeth and claws from less than 1 meter away.

I met Banksy at Damien Hirst's house just after I delivered an second encore performance at the request of Julian Schnabel.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach what you most need to learn.

Learn what you most need to share.

ABOUT ME

I am someone who has appreciated many generous hosts and I like pass on the kindness shown to me in my travels to others down the road. . .

PHILOSOPHY

Do not seek to follow the footsteps of the wise, seek what they sought. - Matsuo Basho

Be good.

Get along with your neighbors.

Money can be and most times usually is, a distraction to the things that are most important in life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We rarely seek to be hosted, we are mainly here to host people.
We can share what we have, who we are and help out when possible and where needed.
