About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To make new friends, explore new opportunities, and learn and experience new things.

ABOUT ME

I've done a lot of great things in my life, I'd like to do more. I've met a lot of great people in my life, I'd like to meet more.I've been to some breathtaking places in my life, I'd lie to go to more. I'm from Winnipeg. I have a mother, father, and two brothers. I love them very much. I love art and I practice drawing and writing in my free time. Culture is the spice of life I always say. I like to be productive and get the most out of life. I'm getting better at planning everything but sometimes I like to just wing it and let the experience present itself.

PHILOSOPHY

It's quite simple, treat others how you want to be treated. Have fun, and never be hateful. Embrace the moment and enjoy the company of those around you. And, most importantly, do what makes you happy. In my opinion, these philosophies are the recipe for a good, fulfilling life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to host, surf, and meet up with other surfers. What I've come believe is that the best things in life you learn from other people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Whenever I visit a new city/country I always stay at a hostel or a friends place. Hostels are great, I've met many great people from around the world. However couch surfing is the ultimate travel concept. Not only do you get to befriend locals, but you get to see wherever you're visiting through a different perspective. It's probably not uncommon to find yourself in an adventure far away from the guide books.

Interests

I'm really into art, people, languages and sports. I love visiting museums and seeing exhibition openings, but sometimes that can get tiring. I also like to draw draw and write. Culture, I find, is one of the most important parts of life. I'm something of a bohemian as well. I love going to pubs clubs and beer halls at night to strike up conversations with strangers, dance the night away and eat tasty, sometimes exotic grub. As for sports, I love team activities and going on hikes.

Music, Movies, and Books

All kins of stuff. You name it, I may have seen it, read it, or heard it. If I haven't, ill take the time to look into it and get back to you about it. There are movies, books and music that I enjoy more than others, tat's for sure, but I enjoy everything to a certain degree. So I will never tell someone that they have a bad taste in music, movies, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In November 2011, I saw a huge, beautiful green ball fall from the sky. Turned out it was an asteroid called YU55 that passed between the moon and the earth. It was soo cool to have caught the moment to have seen something so rare and amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been to a few places and know how to cook a lot of things. I also know how to do a lot of things because of the jack of all trades thing. All of these things I'm willing to teach and share with you, my art and writing too. I'd even share my sandwich with you because I'm just that kind of guy.
