ABOUT ME

Born in the Czech Republic, spent half my life in the USA, and a half of the half in Maine, the Vacationland, past 8 years. I earn my cheese and beer by providing independent video production services and by working in different bars. I have adventurous shoes and whenever I have a chance, I go somewhere and explore. I'm laid-back and open-minded, I like to laugh, and I'll try mostly anything once. Most of my income goes towards travels. And I enjoy meeting beautiful people, sharing, and learning.

Intereses

Exploring, travelling, getting to know, live to the fullest. I love the outdoors, whether on foot, on a bike (road or mountain), kayak, skis, skateboard, rope, sailboat, anything flies, really. I like to take pictures and shoot videos. Nice weather. Extreme conditions. Swimming under the full moon. High-end computers, technology, science, and toys. I like living healthy -- and I've been a vegetarian for 20 years now. Music, festivals, partying, CAMPING, foosball, video games... I like challenge. And good times! :-)

Movies: I both like to make them and to watch them. I don't have a TV but I embrace the amazing resources of the internet. I love anything well done, any genre. Recently enjoyed: Californication, Trail Park Boys, The Antichrist...

Music: anything well done, from indie folk to experimental epic hardcore, political hip hop, dance music, soundtracks, metal, rock, instrumental landscapes...

Algo increíble que he hecho

I hitch-hiked from from Maine to Alaska with $30 in my pocket when I started. I came back 5 months later in my own car. On my way back, I fell off a 30-foot cliff on Vancouver Island and my thighs and arms were so bloody that I had to drive cross-country naked (!) only wrapping a towel around my waist at the gas stations.

Other favorite moments:
1. Hanging onto huge turtles while diving in Hawai'i
2. Driving a 4WD 6-speed TDI Jeep over the mountains in Tahiti
3. Getting my shoes half-eaten in Denali NP by wolves, three day walk from the nearest road
4. Jumping trains and climbing factory chimneys
5. Participating in a revolution that brought down communism in Europe
6. Biking 135 miles in one day, while skipping school, sending a post card to our teacher
7. Saving a life
8. Seeing huge rat snakes in the wild make love
9. Working a 141-hour work week as the only Caucasian at the workplace
10. Meeting a crazy guide in Dubai who brought me to insane construction sites, sneaked into a 7-star hotel, just to hit a $5 brothel (I politely declined), and then went sand-boarding after a 2-hour camel-ride.
11. Partying every single day my senior year in college
12. Successfully starting a business
13. Smoking a joint atop Mt. Kathadin, Maine
14. Delivering a baby in the kitchen
15. Meeting some fantabulous people along the way!
