ABOUT ME

Best time in my life was the years studying music in the uk.
I'm just an ordinary girl who enjoys all good sounds. I'm a rather emotional person, it's either love or hate.
I'm not a traveler, I just like to play so I go to places where leads me to fun.
I believe good things happen to people who has patience.
Less is more.
Everything should be done with a little more passion.
I enjoy people who are genuine and are not afraid of expressing themselves.
Most of the time my life is about extreme fun, its hard to maintain the excitement so stretching life to the max is the idea; sometimes life is also about absolute comfort and I find that in good music with good food.

I was born in Hong Kong, went to the UK when i turned 15 for my education, I'm a classical pianist who also enjoy Jazz, hip hop, electronic, and all other kinds of world music, music helps me to express myself, now back in Hong Kong but constantly traveling, looking for the meaning of life while celebrating it at the same time.

Words are vague sometimes, you will find out.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I treat people as I want to be treated. I want respect, so I give more respect, to my host, guest and travel companion.
I choose carefully who I wanna hang out with, surf and host, I don't just wanna meet new people, but people who I truly connect with and would see them again and again :) and thats what I do every summer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed around Europe, its a good way to explore, it also makes me smile to realise that there are still good people around.

兴趣

Music - the biggest part of my life.
I care about food.
climbing(quite bad), surf(also quite bad), yoga, scuba diving, good drinks and food, water sports, night swimming, movies, cooking, coffee, lakes, doing stuff I'm not particularly good at but fun like all above

音乐、电影和书籍

I'm a classically trained pianist. Bach, Chopin, Beethoven, Mozart, Faure, Rachmaninoff, Khachaturian, they are all great, can't say who my favorite is though. Lately I'm more into jazz, I'm in the learning process on this. Julie London, Chick Corea, Bill Evans, Herbie Hancock, Wes Montgomery, Cubanismo... all the classics are very inspirational.
Some other names in music I enjoy in my daily life, Bonobo, Parov Stelar, Pat Metheny Group, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Lemon Jelly, The Cat Empire, Gretchen Parlato, Riz La Teef, Moody Mann, Fat Freddy's drop, Manfredas ... there are too much to share.
I'm also very much into techno, house, garage, Brazilian rhythms, Dub... and would love to learn and hear some more new sounds.

Couple of favourite movies-Big Fish, Blue Jasmine, Shame, Forrest Gump, The perfume story of a murderer...
I have read a lot of Chinese books, currently on my 4th English book, haha I know this is bad and I'm not denying in being a slightly lazy person.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have learnt to appreciate time alone. If you can't feel good by yourself, you won't feel completed by others.
Oh once I hitchiked alone from Moss, Norway to Kaunas, Lithuania (at least 2300km) in 29 hours on Valentine's Day (to chase love hahaha), no one believed that I could make it in time before the trip but I sure did :D
