ABOUT ME

We are a swedish-american couple currently studying german and history at the university of Uppsala. We like going to the movies, reading books, hang out with friends, eat and a lot more, but most of all we like to travel. We wish we could do it all the time. We also love beeing out in nature, hiking, biking or searching for old leavings from historical times, even though we, sadly, rarely do it. We are easy-going and like to listen to other peoples stories, and to share ours.

We feel that CS strengthens trust between people. It is also a nice platform for cultural exchange.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When we first started as a couple we took a trip through Switzerland couchsurfing at our every destination.

Some favorite movies are Stardust, Top Gun, 101 Reykjavík, John Adams series, Avatar, Disney, Inglourious Basterds and Arn.

We listen to everything between classical music and viking rock, it all comes down to what mood we are in. These are probably beeing played a little more than others: Röyksopp, Sigur Rós, Tyr, Salem al Fakir, Wir sind Helden, Air, Gimma, Moby, Tiger Lou, Mew, Kent, Rammstein, The Streets and The Knife.

We read quite a bit, so it's hard to pick favorites. Moberg and Goethe are always appriciated though, as are nerdy historical books.
