ABOUT ME

I was born and grew up in a little town in Sicily.
Moved to Rimini at 17 years old, here i finished highschool, living at my brother's place.

Then lived in Milan where I studyied Media Design in a Fine Arts Academy.
Currently living in UK, attending an MA in Photography.

I've always been interested in travelling and knowing people coming from different cultural backgrounds, and now that i'm at the last year of university i need more then ever to get in touch with different experiences, cause all good that has to come to my mind, can help me to start an idea and give it a concrete shape that can be a short movie or a picture or whaterver else, basically starts from people and ideas surrounding me.

PHILOSOPHY

Every person is a container full of an explosive and nutrient juice, and the taste of this juice is made all the interests, experiences, culture, style and personal points of view.
Our aim is just to stretch our straw and start drinking of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been couchsurfing since 15 with my best friends, we used to travel around Sicily first and then around italy.
Then I by my self have been couchsurfing in France, England, Germany, Denmark and Sweden.

Interests

I'm interested in culture of all the countries, people's behaviour and what influences this.
Photography is the way i study and express myself more often. I also love to draw, while listening to jazz or relaxing music, or reading books standing upsidedown on my couch!

Music, Movies, and Books

Jazz music is what is influencing me the most right now, Brad Mehldau, Donald Byrd, Bill Evans and the whole list of people coming out from Blue Note records inspire me for all my photography and video projects.
In my early ages i've been sick of Hip Hop and reggae music, and that still lies in me, but i mostly like to go deep in all musice genres, abosultely favourite group right now are Beirut.

I love french cinema, Nouvelle Vague mostly but also new productions like all Jean Pierre Jeunet's movies, and i'm interested in all the authors of cinema basically.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach photography, photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator and Video making and editing, as well as , help you use your camera in Manual mode you know :P,
and maybe some cinema or music knowledge.
I can teach you how to learn a Language without even using books.
Just play that language man!
