ABOUT ME

Where do I even start? I grew up in Maryland, did well in high school, then wound up dropping out of Widener University in '05. Eventually I trained to become an unlicensed merchant mariner, and that's what I've been doing since 2006. I'm traveling far and wide, meeting all kinds of people, and lovin' life!

PHILOSOPHY

1. Don't walk away from your duties and responsibilities.
2. Don't walk away from people who need help.
3. Walk away from aggression, hate, and ignorance.
4. If you can't afford to tip 15%, you can't afford to go out to eat.

兴趣

I like talk radio, movies, reading, internetting, anything maritime, and drinking coffee, among other things.

Music: I like rock, alt rock, disco, bluegrass, and others, but I don't keep up much with recent music.

Movies: I love comedies, adventures, science fiction, and especially old ones.

Books: I like humor, adventure, maritime, and plenty of other genres. Michael Crichton is a favorite.

When I went to the UAE, I took a cab ride from Jebel Ali to downtown Dubai, and it blew me away. I saw the tallest building in the world, giant artificial reefs, and the most luxurious hotel in the world all in a few hours. I wish I could have stayed longer.
