Our names are Glen and Mado. (same on Youtube) Hi, I'm Mado from Germany! I love being in
nature, having deep conversations with people and learning about their cultures. I'm the researcher and organiser of us, so Glen won't get lost along the way, and I'm also an Introvert. My speciality is graphic design and marketing. Hi, I'm Glen from Ireland. I love random adventures, meeting lots of new people, exploring busy markets, climbing mountains, and walking around where there are crowds of people which shows I'm an extrovert. My specialty is personal training and motivating people.

We're currently travelling to explore other cultures together while enjoying it to the fullest. We are adventurous and know how to have a good time. We seek an adventure to experience the authentic culture of countries by staying with locals, which makes travelling so much more enjoyable. it's amazing to hear everyone's story who we meet and stay with. That's what is fully living for both of us!

As I write this our next plan is to head to New Zealand for 1 year in June. We don’t have a solid plan yet but Super excited to head to the other side of the world to enjoy a great culture and and a climate very similar to the one in Ireland 😃

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We like to travel cheaply while efficiently seeing our beautiful planet. Still, the real reason is that we get to experience the authentic culture and way of life by seeing how people live daily. We want to have a taste of every culture to see all the good things that it brings to the table and incorporate them into our daily lives.

We Want to enjoy the local life to the fullest and experience the authentic culture of a country.

Making new friends and connections worldwide is very fulfilling for Glen and Madeleine.

Pushing beyond your comfort zone on many occasions.
Climbing the highest peaks in Pakistan on some crazy roads.
Lived and seen the whole of New Zealand while living out of a car for ten months, both of us haha
