ABOUT ME

I am student from France. I spent one year in Bogota, Colombia. I am open-minded and respectful, two of the most importants things to get new friends and meet people I think.
I travel as much as possible to know better people's cultures. I guess you can say I am curious. But what I hope above all, is to be a funny and friendly person.

PHILOSOPHY

A personal philosophy ? What for ? What we need are philosophies we are able to share, not only one. So that's my philosophy !
But I have these few rules : share what can be shared, experience what can be experienced, and keep on move on !

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Last year, I traveled with my girlfriend, Lucie, when we used to live in Bogota. We went to Brasil and we hosted in Bogota. That's why in the comments you will see that peoples who met speak of she and I.
This summer, I will travel three weeks by myself in the United-States because Lucie will do a internship in Lyon, France.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First time I had a Cousurfing experiences was with my father who use to host people from time to time. So I guess Couchsurfing is something familiar to me :)
Since I travelled a lot last year, I've been host few times. Each Couchsurfing experience was great. That's why I keep looking for host or turn myself as a host !

Interesses

I love travelling a lot, thats why I am on Couch Surfing ! My interest is not only travelling but meeting people that can make me dicover a place diferently.
I am looking for the secret spots of every place. I appreciate to do original things when I am traveling by the world and discover some preservate places. It could be a restaurant with tipical food, an unknow place where I can swim, a view over a city, ...

Lucie is studying urbanism and the way people can live better in the cities. I study social economy. So, I guess we can say that we do want participate in the construction of the world as a better place. Thats why meet people and there way of life is that important : you can't create the change without known the differences !

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I do like latin american litterature like Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Isabelle Allende, Luis Sepulveda, Rosario Ferré, etc. Also like Jack Kerouac, Paul Auster, André Malraux, Albert Camus, Umberto Eco, and much more.
I love the all kind of movie. My favorite maybe is Nuovo Cinema Paradiso.
Concerning the music, just make me discover new things ! I am always keep on knowing new bands, singers and musicians.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

- To climb Vallenaraju (5 686 m) in Peru and Huayna Potosi (6 088m) in Bolivia. Having this feeling not to compete the mountains but to share something wonderfull with them.

- The Barranquilla's carnaval in Colombia. Listen colombian most ancestral music, born from cultural cross-fertilization, and share the importance of living together.

- Living in Colombia, a country with so bad reputation but who did not diserve it. I hope we will participate to give better image of this wonderfull part of the world !
