Sobre mí

CURRENT MISSION

Just livin' and lovin'!

ABOUT ME

Positive, enthusiastic, warm, and able to laugh at the little things in life. Just like so many of the people on this site, I am constantly craving new and rewarding experiences. Through my travels I have found that the most memorable experiences do not include the architecture or the tourist traps, rather the genuine connections I make with people along the way. I hope to meet you soon :)

PHILOSOPHY

Life is short! Enjoy what you have when you have it! Live in the present and not the past nor future.

Intereses

The best part of my day always boils down to good friends, good music, good food, good wine, and great family. I am a musician that loves to be creative with others. I am very active and enjoy doing yoga and cycling. For my profession, I work in the import/export business which coincides nicely with my love of people and culture. Just like the Silk Road, international trade imports and exports ideas and possibilities more than products.

Algo increíble que he hecho

When I turned 20, I bought a motorcycle and drove it for four days straight from the snowy Rocky Mountains, to the beautiful Highway 1 on the West Coast. Sleeping on the side of the road and being stuck in a helmet by yourself for days on end really make you face yourself, your fears, and your hopes. I still look upon that trip with a smile and a feeling of "how did I survive that?!" ha.

I spent three years learning Italian before I ever set foot in the country. When I finally got there, I felt the language, the surroundings, resonate with my soul. I quickly made friends with shopkeepers, people on the train, and the waiters. One particular waiter and I hit it off. The next day he brought me home made prosecco fatto da mano. I will never forget him and that bella figura.

On the same trip in Italy, I saw a man reading a book which I had read in class. I opened a conversation with him and we spoke for 3 hours. At the end of the trip, he gave me the book he was reading and wrote inside of it. Learning the native language is extremely important for me, and I will always try to travel in this way.
