Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always been interested in couch surfing since reading "Vagabonding" by Rolph Potts. I've become disenchanted with the typical "vacationing" that most people do nowadays and would like to have more authentic travel experiences. I'm really wanting to prioritise learning the local culture, eating where the locals eat, drinking where the locals drink and meeting new people from around the world.
