我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

While traveling in 2014 I was introduced to couchsurfing while in Asia. A couple months into my trip, when I was in Indonesia, I had my first experience interacting with cs'ers when I was given a tour of Jakarta from a local cs'er. I realized that this was not just someone offering up their couch and more of a community of people that want to explore and give insight to those that care to as well. At this point I was sold.

Traveling to every country in the world. I'm no where close says the 'been' app on my iphone... Only 11% as of this point.

Seeing off the beaten path neighborhoods of major cities around the globe.

I also like trying great food from all over and also weird options that I can't eat at home... I may never try these things ever again but at least I did it once and am still here to talk about it haha. Some examples from a couple places I've visited recently:
- Philippines: Balout, chicken feet
- Japan: chicken (skin, liver, heart) whale, raw horse
- Cambodia: tarantula
Kind of crazy I know but ya only live once, right?
